Oneida County man charged with raping a child
CAMDEN – a Camden man was arrested late Monday afternoon for rape in the 2nd degree. Edward Washeleski, 51 was arrested after an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in Camden.
Washeleski was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000.00 cash bail.
The victim has been offered counseling by representatives of the Oneida County Department of Social Services working with and through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
