Fifth murder this year in Hudson Valley city
NEWBURGH – There was more violence in Newburgh as a city man was shot dead early Sunday morning. This is the fifth homicide in the city this year.
Police said Justin Doctor, 23, suffered a gunshot wound at the intersection of Liberty and South William Street at 5 a.m. An autopsy is pending.
Newburgh City Detectives and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
