Man killed when vehicle struck by truck
COMMACK - Suffolk County Police are investigating a two-car crash that killed a Commack man this morning.
A man was driving a 2003 box truck westbound on Motor Parkway when his vehicle struck a car driven by Abraham Sparber, that was attempting to make a left turn out of a parking lot onto eastbound Motor Parkway at 9:27 a.m.
Sparber, 90, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
