Man arrested twice, hours apart, for driving without a license

CENTRAL ISLIP - Suffolk County Police arrested a Brentwood man two separate times, approximately three hours apart, for driving with a suspended license.

Eduardo Morales was southbound on Wilson Boulevard near Kelly Avenue in Central Islip at 11:05 a.m. when a Third Precinct Patrol officer pulled him over for driving an unregistered vehicle.  Upon further investigation, it was determined Morales was driving with a suspended license.  Morales was arrested and transported to the Third Precinct where he posted bail and was released.

Approximately three hours later, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a different Third Precinct officer spotted Morales talking on his cell phone while driving the same vehicle and pulled him over. When the officer asked for identification, Morales showed the officer his bail receipt from his arrest earlier in the day.

Morales was arrested again and brought to the Third Precinct where he will be held overnight.  He was charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
