Lockport woman arrested for stealing hydrocodone from employer

LOCKPORT - State Police in Lockport arrested Jeannine Lapaglia, 45, of Lockport, for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree and grand larceny 4th, both felonies.

SP Lockport was contacted by Rite Aid security after they conducted an internal investigation related to the theft of money by an employee that involved voided transactions and altered transactions.  The investigation additionally revealed that Lapaglia had stolen 1,300 hydrocodone pills from the pharmacy over five months. 

Lapaglia was arrested by Troopers and an investigation revealed that she was giving the stolen hydrocodone pills to another unidentified subject while she kept the stolen money for herself.
 
She was arraigned and sent to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
