Woman found in plastic bag was murdered, police say

YONKERS – Remains found in a plastic bag in an area of Rossmore Avenue in the City of Yonkers have been identified as human and the police investigation has now been classified as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Pamela Graddick, 26, who was reported missing in New York City on August 14. The detective division is investigating the murder and anyone with information is asked to call 914-377-7724.

Police were called to the scene earlier this week when the bag, which was emitting a foul odor, was discovered by people in the area.
