Two NY men accused of robbing FedEx truck in Pennsylvania

BLOOMING GROVE TWP – Police in Pike County PA are holding two New York State men following an armed robbery of a Federal Express diver Friday afternoon.

Police say after a delivery was made and the driver returned to his truck, he was approached by two men, one bearing a handgun.  They ordered the driver to hand over his wallet and open the door of the truck.  The two fled with several items including two flat screen TVs.

Police later stopped the suspect vehicle on Route 739, arrested the two occupants and recovered the stolen items.

In custody are Jimmy Colon Jr., of Elmsford NY and a 17-year-old male juvenile from New York City.  Both face multiple charges including robbery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.  Colon is in the Pike County Jail in lieu of $125,000 bail.  The 17-year-old is in a juvenile detention center.
