Long Island bank robbed

WESTBURY – Police are investigating a Bank Robbery which occurred at 1:45 p.m. Friday.

A male Hispanic entered the Bank of America at 248 Post Avenue, displayed a black handgun, threatened the use of a bomb and demanded money.  The teller complied and the suspect exited the bank with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency onto Post Avenue, fleeing in an unknown direction. Ten employees and five customers were in the bank at the time of the Robbery.  No injuries were reported.
