Man shot to death on Long Island
HEMPSTEAD - The Homicide Squad reports the details of a shooting that occurred in Hempstead on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 12:50 am.
According to detectives, Hempstead Police responded to a call for shots fired in the vicinity of Ingraham Street and Peters Avenue. Upon arrival, police discovered a male lying on the ground in front of 94 Peters Avenue. It was determined that the male victim had been shot. The victim was pronounced at the scene. The identification of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1- 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
