NEW YORK – The huge security breach by a man who swam ashore at JFK Airport, then walked through a $100 million security system that includes ground radar and closed circuit cameras has Port Authorities trying to figure out what went wrong.

The intruder told police he got stranded while on a jet ski in Jamaica Bay.  He was charged with criminal trespass, and released. 

Police do not believe the man intended to pose a threat.
