Two men charged with burglarizing six homes

MASTIC/SHIRLEY - Suffolk County Police Department arrested two men for allegedly burglarized half a dozen homes in the past three months.

Several homes in Mastic and Shirley were burglarized between May and August in Mastic and Shirley.  Investigations by Seventh Squad detectives, with assistance from Seventh Precinct Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE) officers, revealed that John Trent and Dontrae Glasco were responsible for six of the residential burglaries.

Trent, 20, of 50 Floyd Road North, Shirley, was charged with five counts of burglary 2nd degree and one count of criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree.  Glasco, 18, of 115 Van Buren St., Mastic, was charged with five counts of burglary 2nd degree.
