Pedestrian killed, driver flees

WILLISTON PARK – Police are investigating leaving the scene of a fatal auto accident that occurred on Sunday August 12, at approximately 4:10 a.m. in Williston Park.

The male victim, 41, was discovered lying in the roadway at Syracuse Street and Broad Street. He had been struck by an unknown vehicle traveling north on Broad Street. The victim was pronounced at the scene.
