Motorcyclist killed in Ronkonkoma crash
RONKONKOMA - Suffolk County police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Ronkonkoma yesterday.
Anthony LaTorre, 23, was southbound on Pond Road in Ronkonkoma, at the intersection of Express Drive North, when his motorcycle collided with a car at 5:50 p.m. LaTorre, of Lake Grove, was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m.
The driver of the car, was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
