Bethpage bank robbed

BETHPAGE - Police in Nassau County are investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on Saturday, August 4, at 11:40 am in Bethpage.

Three male subjects entered the Citibank at 500 Hicksville Rd. and passed a demand note to the teller.  The use of a gun was threatened, but none was displayed.  The teller complied and the subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction.  Five employees and no customers were present in the bank at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.

The subjects are described as one male black and two male Hispanics.  The male black subject is approximately 6’6” tall with a dark complexion.  No further description is available.
