More storms batter much of New York, including possible tornado in Elmira
ELMIRA - A suspected tornado downed trees and power lines in Elmira Thursday afternoon. The apparent twister was part of a massive line of storms that tore through New York and Pennsylvania Thursday afternoon and evening.
There were no reports of injuries in Elmira, but a few structures sustained minor damage.
