Nanuet man charged with looting elderly couple’s bank account
NEW CITY – A Nanuet man has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury on a charge of felony grand larceny.
Antony Giannattasio, 26, of 551 Avalon Gardens Drive, allegedly stole $82,560 from an elderly couple’s bank account. Giannattasio, a personal banker, is alleged to have befriended the couple and then between March 1 and September 30, 2011, obtained an ATM card and withdrew the money from their bank account.
