Robbery, stabbing on Long Island

HEMPSTEAD – Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday July 8, at 12:15 a.m.

A male victim, 24, was walking on Main Street at the intersection of Fulton Avenue when he was approached by three male black subjects. The subjects demanded the victim’s wallet and stabbed him in the stomach.

One subject is described as approximately 26 years of age, wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, and has short curly hair. There is no description of the other two subjects. They fled on foot with an unknown amount of U.S. currency.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
