Alleged drunk driver indicted for fatal Holbrook crash
RIVERHEAD - A Centereach man arrested in May for driving while intoxicated after a fatal motor vehicle crash on May 23 in Holbrook will be arraigned Tuesday on a grand jury indictment in county court in Riverhead.
James O’Donnell, 47, was northbound on Holbrook Road when he struck a car operated by Kristen Iacono, 26, who was westbound on the North Service Road of the Long Island Expressway. Iacono died of her injuries the day after the crash.
O’Donnell, of 4 Kerry Court, Centereach, was not injured. He is incarcerated in lieu of $100,000 cash bail in the Suffolk County Jail.
