Body found in burning vehicle

MEDFORD - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man found in a burning car in Medford on Sunday.

Police were called to 2265 Route 112 in Medford after a 911 caller reported a car on fire in the parking lot at approximately 3:30 p.m.  A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a body within.  The victim was identified as Felix Roberto Hidalgo Jacquez, 40, of Brooklyn

The Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
