Bias vandalism investigated

POINT LOOKOUT – Police are investigating a Criminal Mischief that was discovered around daybreak Saturday morning.

A Fourth Precinct police officer while on routine patrol came upon 5 large orange traffic cones blocking off traffic at Lido Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue. When the officer exited his vehicle he noticed a three foot by three foot (3x3) Swastika had been drawn in white chalk in the roadway. There were also obscenities as well as offensive slogans written in the roadway.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the above crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
