Arson Bomb Squad investigating a fire early morning fire in Levittown.

LEVITTOWN - According to detectives, a passerby spotted a fire at New Meifu Chinese Kitchen located at 60 Division Avenue and called 911. The fire started at the plexi glass front window and burned upward into the restaurant causing severe damage.  The Levittown Fire Department responded with fifty firefighters and six pieces of equipment. There were no injuries reported.  As a result of the fire several neighboring businesses did not have electricity. 

The investigation is ongoing by the Arson/Bomb Squad and the Nassau County Fire Marshall.
