MARCY -  On Friday, June 22, at 1:42pm, State Police in Marcy received a call for assistance at 101 Carver Street in the Town of Deerfield, Oneida County for a physical domestic with shots fired.

Upon arrival, Troopers found a male with a gunshot wound to the head and a female with multiple gunshot wounds. The male was identified as Thomas Anderson Jr., 27 from 1527 Taylor Avenue in the City of Utica and Kylie Ann Turczyn, 23, from 101 Carver Street Town of Deerfield. Kylie was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica, NY and was pronounced dead. 

The investigation revealed that Mr. Anderson and Ms. Turczyn had a 4 year-old child in common and had a previous domestic relationship and that Anderson was distraught over their break up . At approximately 1:25pm, Anderson went to the Carver Street residence and entered without notice. He engaged in a verbal domestic with Ms. Turczyn and then pointed a highpoint 9mm carbine rifle discharging several rounds killing Ms. Turczyn.  Anderson then turned the gun on himself.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday, June 24, 2012 for Ms. Turczyn.  The investigation is continuing.
