Possible abduction on Long Island

MANHASSET – Police are investigating what they term an ‘unusual incident’ that looked like a possible abduction,  on Friday, June 15, at 9:00 pm in Manhasset.

According to detectives, two 10 year old boys were playing outside an Old Mill Road residence when a male teenager standing across the street yelled, “do you want to buy some drugs”.  The boys ran inside the home.

Ten minutes later they returned outside and saw the male teenager and two teenage girls (one possibly Asian) drive away in a white automobile.  There is no further description of the teenagers or the vehicle.

The children notified their school principal of the incident on June 18, 2012 and the principal called police.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
