Final report on fire that killed four family members not complete

CARMEL – The investigation into the fatal fire that killed four members of the Sullivan family in their Carmel home on May 1 will not be concluded this week, Carmel Police Chief Michael Johnson said Monday.

All of the information and documentation pertinent to the investigation has not been received yet, he said. The chief did not say when all of the information will have been gathered and a definitive determination would be made.

The fire raged through the family’s home early in the morning, killing Thomas and Donna Sullivan and their two teenage daughters. Their son, Thomas Jr. survived the tragic blaze.
