Ex-Kennedy wife found dead
BEDFORD – The former wife of Robert Kennedy, Jr. was found dead Wednesday afternoon in her home in the Town of Bedford.
Mary Kennedy, 52, and her ex-husband, the son of former Attorney General Robert Kennedy and the nephew of President John Kennedy, divorced in May 2010.
Bedford Police reported they investigated an unattended death at 326 South Bedford Road at 1:36 p.m. where her body was found in an out building.
Reports say Mrs. Kennedy had committed suicide. Local police and the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
