ORANGEBURG – State Police have charged an outpatient at the Rockland County Psychiatric Center with killing another man, also an outpatient at the state facility in Orangeburg.

The two men, who knew each other, were engaged in a disagreement at the hospital grounds at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 16, when one of them, Curtis Wilson, 52, is alleged to have struck the victim in the face with a metal object.

The victim, whose name was not released, was transported to Nyack Hospital where he died.

Wilson was arraigned, charged with second-degree murder and remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail.
