Former CDPC executive director pleads guilty to falsifying records |

ALBANY - Jesse Nixon, 72, of Albany, pled guilty to one count of offering a false instrument for filing in the 1st degree, a class “e” felony. In accordance with the plea bargain, Nixon must pay $15,000 in restitution and receive a conditional discharge when sentenced on April 30, 2010. Nixon admitted that he falsified the Time and Accrual Record that he signed on September 4, 2003, with intent to defraud the State of New York. It was alleged that while employed as the Executive Director of the Capital District Psychiatric Center, JESSE NIXON improperly used state funds to finance trips he took to the Midwest to visit family and friends by falsifying the business purposes on his travel vouchers and failing to charge vacation time or personal leave time. |
