One dead in Long Island crash
MELVILLE – Police say the driver of a car that went out of control around daybreak Wednesday morning, died in the4 crash.
Jean Xavier, 32, of West Babylon, was heading west on Ruland Road when he lost control and struck a tree in front of 107 Ruland Road. Slippery conditions may have contributed to the crash.
Police ask that anyone who witnessed the crash to call them at 631-854-8247 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
