Kolb calls for “People’s Convention”

QUEENSBURY - Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb, (R,I,C-Canandaigua) held a Town Hall forum in Queensbury where he, along with Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward (R,I-Willsboro) and Assemblyman Tony Jordan (R,C-Jackson) kicked off a series of statewide meetings designed to outline the Assembly Minority Conference’s support for a “People’s Convention to Reform New York,” and describe how it could deliver the positive change that New Yorkers of all political parties – and regions – have been demanding.

Advocates of a People’s Convention to Reform New York say it is a grassroots, non-partisan reform effort to empower citizens to take back their state government and, in the process, chart a positive, new direction for the Empire State.
