Robber apprehended by Good Samaritan arraigned

ALBANY - District Attorney P. David Soares today announced that Jorge Concepcion, 35, of Troy, NY, was arraigned today on one count each of first and third degree robbery, both felonies.

The indictment alleges that the morning of November 30th, on South Pearl St, Concepcion pushed a woman withdrawing money from an ATM to the ground, grabbed her money and fled. A man working  nearby witnessed the crime and, after ensuring the victim was okay, chased Concepcion to the bus station. The man scuffled with Concepcion and was able to hold him until police officers arrived to take Concepcion into custody.
