Dolgeville man arrested on assault charges

HERKIMER - State Police in Herkimer Arrested 18 year-old Kyle Edick, from Timmerman Street in Dolgeville, NY for felony first-degree assault.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred on Peck Road in the Town of Salisbury on January 3, where a 19-year-old man suffered second degree burns to his abdomen and arms.            

Edick is charged with intentionally igniting the victim after pouring gasoline on the victim's clothing, resulting in them catching fire.

Edick was arraigned in the Town of Salisbury Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash / $100,000 bond bail.
