Pedestrian killed on Long Island
RONKONKOMA – Police say a pedestrian, crossing Veterans Memorial Highway, was struck by a passing car. Aurea Sepeda, 73, died a short time after the accident, at a local hospital.
The car was driven by a Holbrook man, who was not injured.
Police are continuing their investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call police at 631-854-8552.
