Serial burglary suspect in custody

GUILDERLAND - On November 18, State Police in Guilderland responded to a report of a burglary on East Lydius Street in the Town of Guilderland.  Investigation revealed that a pickup truck was stolen from the residence as well as extensive criminal mischief being perpetrated inside.  Further investigation revealed that the suspect in the burglary was Dennis M. Grant, 35, of Voorheesville. 

Grant has approximately 12 charges pending against him from the State Police, Albany County Sheriff's Department, Bethlehem Police Department and Guilderland Police Department for area burglaries. 

Grant was arrested for burglary 2nd and grand larceny 3rd, both felonies, on November 19. Grant is currently in the Albany County Jail.

Police released information on the arrest yesterday.
