Medford teen pleads guilty to gang assault, other charges for his role in death of man |
|||||
HAUPAUGE – A Medford defendant has pleaded guilty to four felony charges for his role in the fatal assault of Marcelo Lucero of Patchogue last November. Nicholas Hausch, 18, pleaded guilty today at a scheduled court conference before State Supreme Court Justice Robert W. Doyle to the top count of first degree gang assault of Lucero on November 8 of last year, and a fourth degree conspiracy charge for conspiring with his six codefendants to commit the crime of gang assault. Hausch also admitted his role in the attempted assault, second degree, of Petronila Fuentes-Diaz and the second degree assault with a BB gun of Marlon Garcia during the early morning hours of November 8 in Patchogue village. Hausch will testify at the trials of his codefendants. Any sentencing recommendation is dependent on his fulfilling the terms of a cooperation agreement with the district attorney’s office. |
