AMITY - State Police report the arrest of two subjects allegedly responsible for two armed robberies that occurred in Allegany County. 

The first occurred on Wednesday October 14th at the Rushford Corner Store, 9033 West Main Street in Rushford.  The second occurred on Wednesday October 21st, at My Place pizzeria West Main Street in Angelica.  In both instances the description of the suspects and the handguns were the same. 

Subsequent investigation by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, resulted in the arrest of Demetrius L. Bembry dob 02/06/1988 of 50 Peace Street, Buffalo, N.Y. and Zachary J. Barrett dob 10/07/1988 last known address 43 Seabrook Street, Buffalo, N.Y.  Both subjects were charged with two counts of Robbery in the 1st degree. 

They were arraigned in the Town of Angelica Court and committed to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
