SHIRLEY – The driver of an SUV that struck and killed a pedestrian early Sunday morning will face charges.

Police say Jennifer Johnson, 32, of Center Moriches, was heading south on the William Floyd Parkway, at 2:25 a.m., which she struck Michael Lynch, 49, of Shirley, just south of Sunrise Highway.  Lynch was dead at the scene.

Johnwon is charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
