Man charged with DWI after hitting bicyclist
MANORVILLE – Police charged the driver of an SUV with DWI after he struck and injuried a 14-year-old boy on a bicycle.
Police say David Anderson, 49, of Manorville, was heading east on Clancy Road when the accident happened early Thursday evening. He was scheduled for arraignment Friday. The investigation is continuing.
The teen was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
