ROCHESTER – The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is coming home for the summer, and hiting the neighborhoods.  As a special treat for the city’s 175th anniversary, free ensemble concerts of light classic and pops will be featured, beginning, Monday, July 6. 

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to any of the following locations.  All concerts are scheduled for 7 – 8:30 p.m.

• Monday, July 6:  String Ensemble at Maplewood Rose Garden (Maplewood Drive and Seneca Parkway)
• Thursday, July 9:  Brass Ensemble at Northwest Neighborhood Service Center, (1099 Jay St).
• Sunday, July 12:  Jazz Ensemble at Park Avenue Green (Corner of Park Ave. and Barrington St.)
• Thursday, July 16:  String Ensemble at Otto Henderberg Park (Avon Pl. in the Swillburg Neighborhood
• Thursday, July 23:  marimba Ensemble at Rochester Public Market (280 N. Uniont St.)
• Thursday, July 30:  Brass Ensemble at Staybridge Brooks Landing Hotel parking lot (Brooks Ave. & Genesee St.)
