East End Drug Task Force cocaine seizure from Cutchogue home

CUTCHOGUE - East End Drug Task Force detectives executed a search warrant in Cutchogue Thursday and arrested a man for possession of narcotics and a weapon.

Thomas Bagley, 37, of 350 Skunk Lane is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of third degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful dealing with a child.

Detectives recovered crack and powdered cocaine weighing approximately 35 grams, drug paraphernalia including scales, $2,300 in cash and a .380 caliber handgun containing an empty clip in a kitchen drawer. 

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said Bagley is charged with unlawful dealing with a child, a class A misdemeanor, because EEDTF personnel found a six-month old infant living in the house.

The East End Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by the office of Suffolk County AD.

The task force is comprised of detectives, police officers, and law enforcement personnel from the New York State Police, New York State Parole Division, the Suffolk County Police Department’s Emergency Services Section and K-9 unit, District Attorney Detective-Investigators, East Hampton Town Police Department, East Hampton Village Police Department, Shelter Island Police Department, Southold Police Department and K-9 unit, Riverhead Police Department, Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, and the Suffolk County Department of Probation.
