Fatal crash in Redfield under investigation
REDFIELD – State Police in Pulaski are investigating a one car fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday shortly after 11:30 p.m.
The accident happened at the intersection of County Route 2 and County Route 17 in the Town of Redfield.
The driver of the vehicle, Bryant Jolly, 25, of 1422 County Route 17 Bernhards Bay, NY was traveling east on County Route 2 and failed to stop at the intersection.
The vehicle subsequently struck a utility pole and overturned. The passenger, James Herr, age 26, of 591 County Route 65 in Bernhards Bay was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Jolly was transported to the scene with non-life threatening injuries.
