Police identify man shot dead on Long Island
CENTRAL ISLIP – Suffolk County Police Tuesday identified a man who was shot to death on Tuesday morning as a Medford man, Dexter Acheampong, 24.
He was found shot to death outside 43 East Maple Street in Central Islip Tuesday morning.
Police had received a 911 call of a man being wedged between a parked car and the home at that location before 6 a.m. When they arrived, they found he had been shot.
