E-ZPass Plus now available at Syracuse Hancock International Airport

SYRACUSE – Syracuse Mayor Matthew Driscoll Thursday announced the introduction of E-ZPass Plus for the parking facility at Syracuse Hancock International Airport.  Airport users will now be able to use their E-ZPass Plus to pay for parking through a dedicated exit lane at the Airport parking facility.

Exiting E-ZPass customers that replenish their pre-paid accounts with a credit card are automatically eligible to use E-ZPass Plus at the Airport.  E-ZPass plus parking is available in the Airport’s parking garage and open lot as well.  Parking rates will not change for those using E-ZPass Plus.

E-ZPass Plus is a form of E-ZPass now in use on the New York State Thruway Authority, and other parking facilities, like the New York State Fair.  There are currently more than 6.5 million E-ZPass tags issued by the Authority and other New York Agencies. In 2008, more than 63 percent of all Thruway toll transactions were conducted using E-ZPass.
