Boater safety classes set in Cayuga County

MERIDIAN - Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould Monday announced four upcoming boaters’ safety classes to be offered by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.  Classes are scheduled as follows: 

Saturday, May 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meridian Fire House located at 11375 Ferris Road, Meridian, New York.  Interested persons should contact Deputy John Nedza at 294-8145 to register.

Saturday, June 27, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Scipio Fire Company located at 3550 Route 34, Scipio, New York.  Interested persons should contact Deputy John Nedza at 294-8145 to register.

Saturday, July 11, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Union Springs Fire Department located at 257 Cayuga Street, Union Springs, New York. To register, please contact Deputy John Nedza at 294-8145 to register.

Classes are provided at no cost.  Pre-registration is required as class size is limited.
