Pickup driver dies in Long Island crash
HOLTSVILLE – Suffolk County Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a Farmingville man Sunday morning.
Anthony Rodrigues, 24, was driving a pickup truck when it veered off Nicolls Road in Holtsville and struck a tree just before 7 a.m.
Rodrigues was pronounced dead at the scene. The 23-year-old female passenger in the truck was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
