Teen charged with vandalizing Moriches and Riverhead buildings with graffiti
MORICHES - A Yaphank teen pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesdday in Suffolk County court to charges he vandalized storefronts and public property during a graffiti spree three months ago in Center Moriches, East Moriches, and Riverhead.
Jed Stout, 17, is charged with vandalizing commercial buildings and other property on Frowein Road, Main Street, and Montauk Highway in East Moriches and Center Moriches and a building on Mill Road in Riverhead.
Bail for Stout was set at $5,000.
Two of Stout’s codefendants, Kyree Davenport, 18, and Corey Hodapp, 17, both of Shirley, were arraigned last month. They pled not guilty to making graffiti in January of this year in Center Moriches and East Moriches. The pair is also charged with criminal mischief in the third degree for the vandalism.
