Arson investigation at BJ’s Club

EAST SETAUKET – Suffolk County Police are investigating an apparent criminal fire at BJ’s Wholesale Club in East Setauket that occurred while the store was open last week.

The fire was contained to a small area in the bedding section of the store at 4000 Nesconset Highway. Store personnel evacuated all customers and there were no injuries.

The fire was extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system.          

Detectives are looking for any customer who was in the bedding section who may have seen anything suspicious to call them at 6310852-6150.
