Coeymans man indicted for murder of his son

ALBANY –Glen Vosburgh, 45, of Coeymans, was indicted by the grand jury on four counts including two counts of second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Vosburgh faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the charges.

The indictment alleges that on March 16, 2009, at 1934 Route 9W in the Town of Coeymans, Vosburgh caused the death of his son, Craig Vosburgh, by shooting him in the back with a loaded Luger, 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Glen Vosburgh was also charged with being illegally in possession of a quantity of marijuana inside his home.
