Woman charged with crashing into State Police vehicle |

CHESTERTOWN - State Police in Chestertown arrested a Chestertown woman after she struck a State Police car that was parked on the shoulder of ST-9 in the Town of Chester. Chelsey McDonough, 20, was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was arraigned in the Town of Horicon Court where she was remanded to Warren County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond. It was later discovered that McDonough had used her sister’s information during the DWI arrest. She was subsequently transported from the Warren County Jail to the Chestertown State Police Barracks to be arrested for false personation, forgery second degree and obstructing governmental administration. McDonough was arraigned at the Town of Warrensburg Court and remanded to Warren County Jail again, in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 property bond regarding the obstruction of governmental administration and false personation charges in the Town of Chester. She was also remanded to Warren County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 property bond regarding the forgery case in the Town of Queensbury. |
