WARSAW - State Police in Warsaw responded to the Tri-County Liquor Store on Main Street in Cowlesville where the owner and clerk had detained two persons for an attempted larceny.

Investigation by Troopers led to the arrest of Brian Perry, 28, of Attica, and Lindsay Monnin, 24, of Strykersville, NY for the Attempted Petit Larceny of $65 worth of merchandise consisting of four bottles of liquor.

Both were later released on appearance tickets to appear in the Bennington Town Court at a later date. Troopers were assisted with the investigation by Deputies from the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.
