Four charged with possession of forged instruments

SCHENECTADY – A Schenectady County grand jury has indicted four southern New York men on 34 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Devon Bryan, 20, Ryan Raj, 20, and Julian Outcalt, 24, all of Far Rockaway, and Christopher Clasp, 20, of New York City, were also indicted on charges of criminal possession of forged devices, and scheme to defraud in the first degree.

It is alleged that on September 9 at the Walmart Supercenter at 200 Dutch Meadows Lane in Schenectady and at the Raindancer Car Wash on Freeman’s Bridge Road in the Town of Glenville, they made or possessed a plate, die or other device, designed for use in counterfeiting or otherwise forging written instruments.

They also possessed several Bank of America credit or debit cards, the indicted alleged.
